Equine therapy

    Equine-Assisted Therapy

Ground-based, guided work with horses that supports regulation, confidence, and connection.

An experiential, evidence-informed approach to therapy that takes place through guided, ground-based interactions with horses. Rooted in mindfulness and emotional regulation.

Horses respond to subtle emotional and physical cues, offering immediate, non-judgmental feedback. Children practice self-regulation, calming strategies, intentional responses, confidence, coping skills, boundaries, connection, safety, and empowerment.

Useful for anxiety, ADHD, emotional dysregulation, trauma, low self-esteem, social challenges, or difficulty engaging in traditional talk therapy.
